Ensuring Compliance through FPC Audits

In the EU market, building products covered by Harmonized Technical Specifications must bear a CE mark, marking their compliance. A crucial step in obtaining this mark involves Factory Production Control (FPC) inspections, in most cases overseen by a Certification Body. For passive fire production elements, these audits are recurrent, typically conducted annually.

For Manufacturers

I can initiate and guide the inspection process with the Certification Body. This can include interacting with the manufacturing location to make sure all required processes and procedures are being followed, and investigating and guiding the overall quality processes.

My presence during the actual FPC audits on location will enhance the chance of success.

For Certification Bodies

As Lead Auditor I can prepare, execute and report the required number of audit inspection, depending on the certification scheme.

My expertise is in audits in accordance with CPR requirements, but I can also perform audits in accordance with private certification schemes such as P-Mark or UL-EU.
